The Troop was formed on Fort Knox in 19XX so that boys from military families were constructively engaged in activities that would help them become better citizens and most of all better men. Originally the Troop was chartered by the 5-15th Infantry Family Readiness Group (FRG). With the upcoming BRAC, and the moving of 5-15 IN, the Troop had to look for a more permanent resident to Fort Knox, so they looked to Accessions Command in the Accessions Support Brigade FRG. The Accessions Support Brigade has opened it's arms to the Troop and the Pack for that matter and provided numerous resources. Both the Troop and the Pack are looking forward to a long lasting relationship. Currently the Troop has two Patrols but is always changing do to the turn over of troops:
